Heatmiser unknown venue, unknown town November 13th, 1993 1) Wake 2) Mock-Up 3) Buick 4) Don't Look Down 5) Lowlife 6) Blackout 7) Temper 8) Bottle Rocket 9) Trapdoor 10) Busted Lip 11) Cannibal 12) Sleeping Pill 13) Junior Mint 14) Flame! encoreish: 15) Still 16) Candyland The sound is pretty bad. Vocals are distant and at times totally inaudible, the sound is tinny. There's a buzzing at various intervals. There are a few dropouts and random level fluctuations. The video is incredibly clear however and as this is the only known live heatmiser video that has been publicly traded and only the second confirmed in existence, it is definitely a must for any fan. The most unfortunate thing is really the sound. This is one of those shows that I had always wanted to see. It's a show from smack dab in between albums. Almost a year before the release of Cop and Speeder, well after the release of Dead Air. From what little I can hear of Trapdoor and Busted Lip, it sounds like there are some early lryics in there. Video: MPEG-2 720x480 29.970 FPS 8847 kbps bitrate 4:3 NTSC Audio: AC3 384kbps CBR I got this video from a very kind internet acquaintance known as Geneviève who had this to say: "I recently acquired a Heatmiser concert dated 1993-11-13 from a guy named Kirk Cooley whose band played on the same night. Apparently a friend of his taped their performance, and he only recently unearthed the VHS and realized who else was on the tape. Unfortunately, the venue is unidentified and he can't remember where it was. But it's very good quality and lasts 47 minutes. Being heavy metal impaired, I am unable to identify most of the songs they are playing -- mercifully once in a while they do provide a title -- but I got a kick at seeing their energetic performance, and especially Elliott's, so I thought you might too. I transferred the VHS unto a DVD at optimum speed and will gladly send you a copy if you provide me with a mailing address. Hopefully you'll be able to figure out the setlist."
